About FEF
The Fairfield Education Foundation (FEF) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization originally founded in 2016.
The mission of the Foundation is to provide an on-going and centralized source of additional funds and resources to address the educational needs of students in the Township of Fairfield by securing resources from individuals, corporations, community organizations, and foundations, and to distribute those resources in accordance with funding criteria established by the Foundation.
FEF will work to enhance the quality of education and educational opportunities. As well as to generate and distribute financial and other resources for the benefit of the students in the Township of Fairfield for selected programs and projects.
The Foundation will carry out its mission by focusing its support in the following areas:
Facilitate student development
Provide funds for learning activities that supplement, complement, and augment the basic educational program
Provide equipment, facilities, and material not funded through other means
Encourage excellence through creative learning and teaching
Provide venture capital for creative ideas and programs
Support professional growth of staff
Promote community/school partnerships
Promote community awareness of educational challenges and solutions
Foster the development of alumni relations
Provide a vehicle through which individuals, businesses and organizations may share the resources and gifts with the Fairfield School District
Who we are
FEF is made up of a board of five trustees and one treasurer . Each of which is a volunteer and has children in the Fairfield public school system. Together with our community supporters we are dedicated to making the educational experience at Fairfield Public Schools truly exceptional.
